Students work with three of the components of a typical software suite; word-processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint presentation. Students will explore the World Wide Web in a supervised manner with emphasis on developing research skills. Basic drawing techniques and some elementary web page design are also covered. Students will be given assignments that relate to other subject areas such as science, math, social studies, and language arts.

The younger children of Laurier come to the Computer Lab to learn investigating skills relating to their curriculum. They also have access to a sequenced word processing program to develop their processing skills.
